In This Issue Project: Reclaiming Earth Saving Our Lakes and Rivers Hello. My name is Alice Hawke. This ezine is being delivered to everyone who was initially on my WithINdependence NetWorks ezine list plus people who expressed a specific interest in an environmental project. There will be a total of nine ezines going out over the next little while, one for each of the networks. They will contain projects specific to that networks. If you want to receive all of them, there is nothing for you to do. However, if you wish to receive some ezines but not others, please email me directly with that information. I will correct it manually in the system. The next issue of The Enviro-Action Community ezine will go out once we have built our first team of 15 people.	Project: Reclaiming Earth We’re looking for a team of 15 people who are interested in purchasing the first piece of land for the purpose of reclaiming it for agricultural purposes. The first segment of this project consists of raising the money to purchase the land. The funds will be raised through a 90-day system I have set up so that there will be no need to deal with banks, mortgage companies or venture capitalists. This must remain an independent, grassroots movement. In the past, similar projects have failed or been compromised due to lack of financial stability and/or dependency on outside funds. We will be doing several project. In each of our projects, we want a diverse skill set and we want to give business people an opportunity to network without any potential of competition within the team. All projects will be limited to 15. Some examples of the types of people who may be interested in this project are: real estate agents landscapers and gardeners farmers environmentalists engineers builders people who would like to live on the property and do the necessary work in return for living space. The above list is meant to generate ideas - not limit people. Obviously, anybody who has an interest in the environment, is welcome to join this team. There are both time and money investments required for this project. Both investments are variable and, if you are interested, call me and we can discuss them on an individual basis depending on your circumstances. Do not buy reusable products, especially cleaning products, these will add extra waste to our landfill sites. Dispose of products such as paints, oil, old computers, batteries etc properly. Hang clothes out to dry as much as possible. Use cold water for your laundry. Have a healthy lawn, eliminating phosphorous run off from fertilizers. Wash your car using eco friendly products on your lawn, not your driveway. Use your recycle bins properly. Compost as much as possible. Plant trees, they help to absorb water and clean it. Humanity's Team USA We are EXCITED to be contacting you via the first HTUSA Newsletter for 2008! We are also contacting 6,000 Humanity's Team teammates from the United States! There is much to be relayed but not all in this newsletter. In this moment, simply know that We Are Here. Know that We Are All One. Know that HTUSA is organizing. We are finding each other again. We are reaching out to you, so that we can move as One. We know that there has been a long period of inactivity from Humanity's Team USA (HTUSA). Therefore, we want to address this scenario first. Simply stated, HTUSA former leadership dismantled, creating a disconnection with HTUSA teammates. The silver lining is that all of us were given the opportunity to choose who we wanted to BE in relationship. In December 2007, Soni Fitzhugh and I (Randall Wood) stepped into the roles of Co-Country Coordinators for HTUSA and have been working to reestablish HTUSA since. Notice that we have chosen to BE here. We are caring, courageous, giving, loving, responsible, and stewards. Know that we are not the only HT teammates that have chosen these aspects of Love. We are thankful for those Humanity's Team teammates in the U.S. who have continued to meet to host and/or facilitate New Spirituality study groups and other Humanity's Team related events. We are thankful for Humanity's Team Worldwide (HTWW), for their steadfast dedication, passion, support, and nurturing. We want to thank them for consistently reiterating throughout the world Humanity's Team main message, "We Are All One".
